With a total investment of 10.25 billion dirhams, Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM) is leading a series of large-scale projects aimed at modernizing and expanding the Kingdom’s road infrastructure. These initiatives are being carried out entirely by Moroccan expertise, with the goal of improving mobility, supporting economic momentum, and strengthening Morocco’s technical sovereignty.
Morocco’s highway map is shifting to a new scale. The National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM) has launched a series of structural projects across the country, with a total investment of 10.25 billion dirhams. The goal: to adapt the network to the demands of a rapidly growing nation, relying entirely on Moroccan expertise, as noted by Omar Sikkal, Director General of ADM Project, during a visit to the Tit Mellil-Berrechid construction site.
These projects are part of the royal vision that focuses on enhanced connectivity between major cities, airports, ports, and industrial zones, in order to support the economic and social development of the Kingdom.

Tit Mellil – Berrechid: Highway with 3 lanes in each direction
One of the most advanced projects is the Tit Mellil-Berrechid highway, with 65% of the work completed, according to Omar Sikkal, General Director of ADM Project, the technical subsidiary of the national operator.
"This section is a first in Morocco, as it will have three lanes in each direction, marking a significant evolution in the design of the country's highway infrastructure," explains the official.
This technical ambition also reflects a strategic commitment: to enhance the capabilities of Moroccan companies and consulting firms, mobilized through ADM Project to manage large-scale works with rigor and professionalism, says Sikkal.
Mohammédia Ouest – Aïn Harrouda : Tramo en transformation
Another important project is the transformation of the highway section between Mohammédia West and the Aïn Harrouda interchange, the busiest in the country, with an average of 120,000 vehicles per day.
"The project, funded with 750 million dirhams by several ministries and local entities, includes the expansion to 8 lanes in each direction, the elimination of at-grade crossings, the construction of 12 works of art, and an elevated interchange. To date, 40% of the work has already been completed," says Wahbi Al-Mesbahy, project manager.
Unprecedented road junction at Sidi Maârouf
South of Casablanca, the Sidi Maârouf junction is under construction. It is a three-level interchange, the first of its kind in Morocco, with 40% of the work completed.
Designed according to the "Cloverleaf" and "Turbine" models, the project includes 8 works of art and the expansion of the highway to 2×5 lanes. The budget amounts to 500 million dirhams. This new junction aims to alleviate access congestion, improve traffic flow in the area, and meet the growing demand for connectivity between the east and south of the economic capital.
New corridor between Rabat and Casablanca
Finally, ADM is preparing the launch of a new continental corridor between Rabat and Casablanca, with a length of 59 kilometers.
The project, with an estimated cost of 6.5 billion dirhams, addresses a strategic challenge: to improve traffic flow between the two largest urban centers of the Kingdom, currently connected by a highway that is often congested.
